Dr. Andy Walker, M.D.

began his practice Jewell County Hospital and Rural Health Clinic in March of 2008. Following graduation from Baker University in Baldwin, he graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in May of 1987 and completed his residency at Kansas University Medical Center in June of 1990. He is board certified in family practice and performs a wide range of surgeries.

Dawn Steinman, Nurse Practitioner, APRN, DNP
began her practice at Jewell Hospital and Rural Health Clinic in October of 2016. Dawn graduated from Kaplan University with her Masters as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner in 2015. Then in 2017 she received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Purdue Global University. Dawn did her training in Lincoln Nebraska at the Peoples City Mission Free Clinic and the Blue Stem Clinic.
Marilyn Dunstan, APRN
started working as a nurse practitioner for the Jewell County Hospital and Rural Health Clinic in 2000. She received her bachelor's degree from Bethany College in Lindsborg, her nursing diploma from Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, MO in 1972, and her physician's assistant and nurse practitioner's certification from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 1991. She is certified to diagnose, manage, and treat patients of all ages.

Bryan Houchens, PAC

began his practice at Jewell County Hospital and Rural Health Clinic in May 2016. He received his BS degree from Friends University in 1992 and in 1998, obtained his Physician Assistant Degree from Wichita State University. He has practiced in Missouri, Fort Riley (10 years), and Herrington, Kansas. He served in the National Guards for 8 years and was deployed to Iraq as an Infantry Battalion PA for 18 months. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and farming.

Rebecca Snyder, PAC

is originally from Dodge City, KS. Her medical training started at Wichita State University, where she earned an undergraduate degree in Physician Assistant studies, followed by a Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. Rebecca has 21 years of experience as a PA, with specialty experience in Orthopedics, Gastroenterology and Emergency Medicine. She has been extremely privileged to provide care for our Nation's veterans at the Robert J Dole VA in Wichita, KS for the last 17 years. Rebecca enjoys camping, weightlifting, reading and traveling.
