Andy Walker, M.D. began his practice Jewell County Hospital and Rural Health Clinic in March of 2008. Dr. Walker also currently practices at Belleville Medical Clinic, P.A.. Following graduation from Baker University in Baldwin, he graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in May of 1987 and completed his residency at Kansas University Medical Center in June of 1990. He is board certified in family practice and performs a wide range of surgeries.

Dr. Nolan Beavers, M.D.
joined the staff of Jewell County Hospital and Rural Health Clinic in March of 2008. Along with Jewell County Hospital, Dr. Beavers is also been practicing at Belleville Medical Clinic, P.A. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan University, The University of Nebraska Medical School, Omaha, and completed his residency at Via Christi Family Practice in Wichita, KS. He provides a full spectrum family practice including; Obstetrics, Diagnostics and Surgery.

Gary L. Chingren, M.D. is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Specializing in Total Joint Replacement and Hand Surgery. A Sidney, Nebraska native, Dr. Chingren  completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska and recieved his medical docorate from the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Chingren completed his residency at Miami Valley Hospital/ Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He continues his medical education by attending courses on new development and attending seminars.

Dr Shannon Hoos-Thompson is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. She attended Creighton University School of Medicine where she completed her Medicine/Pediatrics Residency in 2007 and her Cardiovascular Fellowship in 2011. Dr. Hoos-Thompson's primary focuses on Geriatric Cardiology, Adult Congenital Cardiology, and Sports Related Cardiology. She is highly trained in the treatment and management of varicose vein disease, performs and interprets peripheral vascular studies, nuclear cardiology studies, and diagnostic heart catheterization procedures. Dr. Hoos-Thompson provides Non-Invasive and Invasive Cardiology services through Platte Valley Medical Group and comes to Jewell County Hospital the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
